Who can do thisOwnerAdminFinanceUpdated 2026-10-13

Every workspace starts on a free trial. When you are ready, an owner, admin or finance member chooses a plan in Settings → Plan & usage and pays through Stripe. This page covers everything from the first day of the trial to cancelling.

The free trial

  • 14 days, no card. Everything is included: every tool, up to 3 management seats and 25 GB of storage.
  • Stretch it to 30 days. Invite your first client and send your first file for review, and the trial runs 30 days from the day the workspace was created. Owners get an email when it is extended.
  • Reminders. Owners get an email 3 days before the trial ends, and another on the day it ends.

Owners, admins and finance see a small pill at the top of the app, for example “Trial · 9 days left · Choose a plan”. You can hide it for the rest of your session, until the last 3 days of the trial. After that it stays put.

When the trial ends

If nobody chooses a plan, the workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted, and everyone (your team and your clients) can still sign in, read and download. New work is paused until a plan is chosen. The pill at the top then reads “Read-only” and can’t be hidden. Choose a plan any time and the workspace opens up again.

Plans and prices

PlanPriceBilled
Monthly$49 per management seat per monthEvery month
Annual$39 per management seat per monthOnce a year
Founding$19 per management seat per monthOnce a year (annual only)
Library pack (optional)+250 GB for $25 a month or $250 a yearWith your plan
  • The plan is UpRush Pro, and every tool is included on every plan.
  • Prices exclude tax. Stripe adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and may show the price in your local currency.
  • Once you pay, storage grows to 50 GB per management seat, pooled across the workspace.

The founding price

The first 25 paying workspaces can lock in $19 per management seat per month, billed yearly. The price is yours for life, as long as the subscription stays active. Plan & usage shows how many founding spots are left.

Choose a plan

  1. Go to Settings → Plan & usage. Owners, admins and finance can open it.
  2. Pick Monthly, Annual or, while spots are left, Founding.
  3. Add a Library pack if you need more storage.
  4. Choose Continue to payment. Stripe’s secure checkout page opens.
  5. Enter your card and billing details and pay. You come back to UpRush with the plan active.

Seats follow your team

You don’t buy seats ahead of time. A management seat is anyone holding Owner, Admin, Team Manager, Finance, Sales or Dedicated Expert. Roles stack free, so one person with three of those roles is one seat. Production members, clients and guest reviewers are always free. See Roles and seats.

  • Adding a seat. Give someone a management role and the subscription adds a seat on its own. Monthly plans are charged the prorated difference right away. Annual plans add it at renewal.
  • Removing a seat. Take away someone’s last management role and your next bill goes down. There are no refunds or credits for the current period.

Manage billing

Once you pay, Plan & usage shows a Manage billing button. It opens Stripe’s billing portal, where you can:

  • Update your card.
  • Change billing details such as the company name, address and tax ID.
  • Download past invoices.
  • Cancel the subscription.

Cancelling

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. Until then everything works as usual. After that the workspace becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, and you can choose a plan again whenever you like.

If a payment fails

Stripe retries the payment automatically. Meanwhile Plan & usage shows “The last payment didn’t go through”, so update your card through Manage billing. If the payment is still unpaid after 14 days, the workspace becomes read-only until it is settled.

Launch testers

Workspaces that existed before paid plans launched are launch testers. They are complimentary and carry a Tester chip on Plan & usage. Nothing changes for them, but they can still subscribe with Subscribe anyway.

More workspaces

Anyone can start one workspace of their own with no access code. A second one you start yourself needs an access code from the UpRush team, so email support. Joining someone else’s workspace still works by invitation link, with no access code. Each workspace has its own trial and its own subscription.
