Projects & tasks.
Projects, tasks, statuses, the board and My Work.
Projects
A project groups related tasks under one client engagement (or your studio's own work), with its own status, dates, value and files.
Tasks and task IDs
The task is the unit of work in UpRush: one request, its brief, its deliverables, its conversation and its history, all under a readable ID like MF-VID-0042.
Task statuses
Every task has two statuses: a detailed internal one your team works with, and a simpler one the client sees. UpRush keeps them in step automatically.
The board
Each client gets a kanban board: tasks flow from Queue to Completed, and dragging a card changes its status for everyone in real time.
My Work
My Work is your personal board: every task you are assigned to, across every client, in columns that follow the internal workflow.
Comments and mentions
Every task has two conversations: an internal stream clients never see, and a client stream you share with them. Mention people with @ to pull them in.
Active task limit
Each client has an active task limit: how many of their tasks can be in production at once. It keeps subscription and retainer clients pulling from a queue instead of piling on.
