Assignments and pay.

An assignment is the paid agreement behind your work: the agreed amount, payment terms, milestones and every payment made. My pay shows them all, with what you have earned and what is still owed.

Who can do thisProductionUpdated 2026-10-07

When the studio confirms you on paid work, usually by converting an opportunity, it records an assignment. The assignment holds the agreed amount, the payment terms and any milestones, and it keeps a ledger of every payment. My pay collects all of yours in one place.

Open My pay

My pay has no dock item of its own. Reach it from your Dashboard: the Active assignments and Outstanding pay tiles both open it.

At the top are three numbers: Total earned, Outstanding (agreed but not yet paid) and Next milestone due. Below them, one card per assignment. Finished and cancelled ones fold away under Archived.

Getting paid

Payments reach the ledger in two ways: a manager records one directly, or the studio pays an invoice you submitted against the assignment. Either way, the Paid and Remaining figures update and the chip changes.

  1. On an assignment with a balance left, click Create invoice.
  2. The invoice builder opens with the assignment selected and the remaining balance prefilled.
  3. Adjust it if you are billing a part, then create and submit it. See Invoicing the studio.
