The deliverable trackline.

Every deliverable on a task travels the same five stops, from Working to Delivered. The trackline shows where each one stands, and the row offers exactly the next move.

A task is the request; deliverables are the things you actually hand over. A social campaign task might carry a hero video, three cutdowns and a set of stills. Each one is a row on the task's Deliverables tab, and each row moves on its own, so one cutdown can be approved while another is still in production.

The five stops

WorkingWork is in flight.
Internal reviewHanded off. Someone in the studio owes a reply.
With clientSent for client review. The client owes a reply.
ApprovedThe client said yes.
DeliveredFinal delivery is done.

A deliverable that a manager has paused shows On hold in grey on the first stop instead of Working. It has not moved anywhere, so the trackline keeps its five stops. See Deadlines, holds and rounds.

Reading a row

  • Line one: the name, the latest attachment, the row's actions and a menu.
  • Line two: one sentence about where it stands, for example Handed off by Sam, With the client · sent Oct 2 or Delivered · Oct 6. Then the deadlines, the revision round and the assignees.
  • Line three: the trackline itself. The current stop is highlighted, earlier stops are mint, and later stops are grey.

Select a row to expand it. Inside you will find its details (Name, Qty, Format, Dimensions, Notes), its deadlines, its revision rounds, its assignees and its Attachments. With two or more deliverables, a progress bar at the top counts how many are delivered.

Add a deliverable

  1. Open the task's Deliverables tab and select Add (or Add the first deliverable on an empty task).
  2. Fill in the name and, optionally, quantity, format, dimensions and notes.
  3. Managers can set the Client deadline, the Internal deadline, Rounds included and the assignees right away.
  4. Select Add deliverable.

Edit any of it later with Edit details in the row's menu. Templates can create deliverables for you when a task starts from one.

One action per row

The row offers the move that makes sense for who you are and where it stands. The primary move is marked with a small pink dot.

The row menu adds Record client approval… (before approval), Reopen (after approval), Put on hold and Resume for managers, and Remove. Removing a deliverable keeps its attachments in the Library.

What the client sees

Clients see a simpler four-stop line on their task page: In progress, With you, Approved, Delivered. Working, Internal review and On hold all read as In progress, so a client never learns about internal handoffs or paused work. They only see files you have shared with them, and only the client deadline, never the internal one.
