Settings at a glance.

Every tab in Settings, who sees it, and what lives there: workspace identity, your profile, members, clients, templates, billing, plan and usage, integrations and notifications.

For everyoneUpdated 2026-10-07

Open Settings from the bottom of the dock. Settings has a tab list on the left (across the top on a phone), and which tabs you see depends on your roles. Owners and admins see everything. Anyone can open the tabs that are about themselves.

Workspace

Identity and defaults for the whole workspace. Change any field and choose Save changes.

  • Name and Description (up to 500 characters).
  • Website.
  • Timezone: the zone deadlines are read in.
  • Task ID prefix: 2 to 4 letters that start every task ID, such as MF-GEN-0001. Tasks that already exist keep the prefix they were created with.
  • Default currency: pre-selected on new quotes, invoices and assignments. See Currencies.
  • Logo: shown on the dock, invoices and the client portal. If your logo is hosted elsewhere, upload it here so it prints on your documents.

Below the form, owners and admins find two switches:

  • White-label documents removes the UpRush logo and badge from PDFs, shared pages and email footers, so your clients see only your studio.
  • Public testimonial wall gives your studio a public page that shows only the testimonials whose authors agreed to share them and that you published. Turning it on publishes nothing by itself. See Testimonials.

Your profile

  • Profile photo, Full name, Job title and Timezone. Your Email is shown for reference and can’t be edited here.
  • Your signature (for internal roles who send contracts): the signature every contract you send carries. See Contracts and e-signing.
  • Focus on my clients (for Dedicated Experts and Team Managers): a personal filter. See Scoping switches.
  • Availability: your status (Available, Limited or Unavailable), when you are back, a note, and your capacity. It shows on the capacity board.
  • Product tour: Replay the product tour.

Members and Clients

Members is where you invite people and manage their roles. See Members and role names and Invite your team. Clients is where client organizations live. See Add a client and Scoping switches.

Templates

Task templates save a brief, deliverables, a checklist and more, so recurring jobs start fully formed. Choose New template here, or use Save as template… on any task. Deleting a template doesn’t affect tasks already created from it.

Billing

Two cards set how your invoices look and what they say:

  • Invoice design: accent color, header style and a live preview. See Invoice design.
  • Billing identity: legal name, tax or VAT ID, billing email, address, bank details, payment instructions, invoice prefix and number format, default payment terms, default invoice notes and an invoice logo.

Plan & usage, Integrations, Notifications

  • Plan & usage: see Plan and usage.
  • Integrations: choose Connect QuickBooks to sync invoices. See QuickBooks.
  • Notifications: choose what lands in your bell and your inbox. Email stays off until you turn a type on, except approvals. See Notifications.
