Invoice design.

Make the invoice PDF look like your studio: accent color, logo, header style, what prints on it, and the billing identity and bank details your clients pay to.

Every client invoice in UpRush renders as a clean PDF that your client receives by email and can download from their portal. Settings → Billing controls how it looks and what it says about you. There are two cards: Invoice design for the look, and Billing identity for who you are and how to pay you.

Design the invoice

  1. Go to Settings → Billing and find the Invoice design card.
  2. Pick an Accent color from the swatches, or type a custom hex.
  3. Choose a Logo size: Small, Medium or Large.
  4. Choose a Header style: Classic (a clean rule under the header) or Bold (a larger title on a tinted header band).
  5. Switch on the blocks you want printed (see the table below).
  6. Optionally add a Footer note, a short line printed at the bottom of every page (up to 200 characters).
  7. Watch the Live preview update as you go, then choose Save invoice design.
ToggleWhat it prints
Payment instructions blockYour bank details and payment instructions at the bottom of the invoice.
Project + installmentThe project name and installment label (for example “Deposit” or “Final 50%”).
SOW numberThe project’s SOW or PO number when it has one. See Project value and SOW.
UpRush credit in footerA small “Prepared with UpRush” line at the bottom. Turn it off for a fully unbranded invoice. Your logo or name always leads the header either way.

Set your billing identity

The Billing identity card holds the details printed in the “from” block of every invoice, and the payment details your clients need.

  1. Fill in your Legal name, Tax / VAT ID and Billing email.
  2. Add your Billing address.
  3. Under Bank details, enter what your clients need to pay you: bank name, account holder, account number, routing number, IBAN, SWIFT / BIC, account type and any notes. Fill only what applies to your bank.
  4. Write Payment instructions in plain words, for example “Please include the invoice number as the transfer reference.”
  5. Set numbering: an Invoice prefix (2 to 8 characters, starting with a letter; IN by default) and a Number format, either Yearly · IN_2026_0001 or Continuous · IN-0001.
  6. Choose Default payment terms and Default invoice notes to pre-fill new invoices.
  7. Upload an Invoice logo (PNG, JPEG or WebP, under 2 MB).
  8. Choose Save billing identity.

Bank details are only visible to Owners, Admins and Finance in settings, and appear to clients only on the invoices you send them (when Payment instructions block is on).

Per-client billing details

The “bill to” side comes from each client. In Settings → Clients, open a client and choose Billing to open Client billing details, where you set Legal name, Tax ID, Billing email, CC emails, their billing address, Currency, Default payment terms and Notes. These pre-fill that client’s invoices and the email dialog. See Currencies.

Remove UpRush branding everywhere

Beyond the invoice footer toggle, Owners and Admins can switch on White-label documents in Settings → Workspace. It removes the UpRush logo and badge from PDFs, shared pages and email footers, so your clients see only your studio.
