Testimonials.

Ask a client for a testimonial with one no-login link. They can write a few lines or record a voice note, and with their permission you can feature it on your public testimonial wall.

The best time to ask for kind words is the moment the work lands. UpRush makes the ask a single link: the client opens it, writes a few lines or records a voice note, and sends it. No account, no login. Everything comes back to one place, and the testimonials they agree to share can go on a public wall you can link from your website.

Where to find it

Testimonials does not have its own dock item. Open it from the Testimonials link in the header of Projects, or search for it with ⌘K. On a completed project, the header also shows Ask for a testimonial, which opens the ask with the client and project already picked.

Ask for a testimonial

  1. On the Testimonials page, click Ask for a testimonial (or use the button on a completed project).
  2. Pick the Client and, optionally, the Project it is about.
  3. Fill in Their name and Their email. The email is needed to send it; a link works without one.
  4. Optionally add A line from you. It appears in the email and on the page they land on.
  5. Click Send the ask to email it, or Create and copy link to share the link yourself.

The link works for 60 days.

What the client sees

The link opens a short, friendly page with your note. The client can:

  • Give an optional rating from one to five stars.
  • Choose Write it and type their testimonial (up to 4,000 characters), or Say it and record a voice note (audio only, up to 10 minutes and 15 MB).
  • Add Your name and, optionally, their role and company.
  • Tick the consent box to let your studio share it publicly. It is off by default: nothing is published unless they opt in.
  • Click Send it.

They can come back and update their testimonial while the link is still active.

Responses and requests

The Testimonials page has two parts.

Responses

  • Every testimonial you received, with its rating, words or voice note, and who it is from.
  • Click the star to mark one as featured. Featured testimonials appear first on your wall.
  • Use the On the wall switch to publish one. The switch only works when the client gave permission to share publicly.
  • The menu lets you Archive (keeps it, out of the way) or delete a testimonial for good.

Requests

Every ask you sent, with its state: Open (waiting), Answered or Closed. From a request’s menu you can Copy link, Send the email again or Close the request. Closing stops the link straight away; anything they already sent stays.

Your public wall

Your wall is a public page at uprush.work/wall/your-workspace showing every published, consented testimonial, featured ones first, with your average rating. Link it from your website or proposals.

  1. On the Testimonials page, find Your wall.
  2. Switch it on. (The same switch lives in Settings → Workspace as Public testimonial wall.)
  3. Publish the testimonials you want with their On the wall switch.
  4. Use View wall to check it, and copy the address to share it.
