Getting around.
The dock, search and quick actions with ⌘K, the avatar menu, and how navigation works on your phone.
UpRush keeps navigation in one place: the dock on the left of the screen. What appears in it depends on your roles, so a producer, a finance lead and a client each see a dock shaped around their own work.
The dock
On a computer, the dock is a slim column of icons down the left edge. Rest your pointer on it and it widens to show labels. It folds back when you move to a new page.
- The top of the dock holds your main destinations, starting with Dashboard.
- Settings sits at the bottom, for every internal member.
- The dock also holds search, the notification bell and your avatar.
- A small dot on an item means there is something unread inside it.
The exact list depends on your roles. For example, owners and admins see CRM and Billing, production crew see My work and Opportunities, and clients see their portal pages. The full table is in Roles and seats.
Your dashboard
Dashboard is home. It’s different for every role: managers see work across the studio and a New task button, production crew see their assignments, finance sees the money, and clients see what is waiting on them. See Insights and dashboards.
Search and quick actions
Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) from anywhere, or select the search icon in the dock, to open search. Type to find things across the workspace. Search only returns what your role can see.

The avatar menu
Select your avatar in the dock to open the account menu.
- Your workspaces. Every workspace you belong to is listed with your roles there. Select one to switch.
- New workspace opens a workspace of your own. Clients see Try UpRush for your team. See Create your workspace.
- Take the tour replays the short product tour.
- Send feedback writes to the UpRush team.
- View as (owners and admins) previews the app as another role or member. See View as.
- Sign out.
Notifications
The bell in the dock collects mentions, comments, assignments, status changes, approvals, files, deadlines and requests. Choose what reaches the bell and what reaches your inbox in Settings → Notifications. See Notifications.
On your phone
On a small screen the dock becomes a tab bar along the bottom. The first four destinations get their own tabs. Everything else, including Settings and your account, lives behind the More tab.
The product tour
The tour is a short guided lap around the parts of UpRush your role uses. Start it any time from Take the tour in the avatar menu, or from Replay the product tour in Settings → Your profile.
